
Mr. Shanahan is the CFO for Compass and President of Compass Capital Corporation. Tim was the founder of Compass Capital Corporation in 1984. He has served as past President and past Chairman of the Greater Boston Society of the Institute of Certified Financial Planners. He is a founding principal of the Compass Institute for Professional Education & Development (CIPED) and he has served as a securities industry arbitrator with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Dispute Resolution Inc. He is a 1975 graduate of Suffolk University in Boston (BA Psychology). He completed the CFP curriculum offered by the College for Financial Planning in 1984 and was certified by the CFP Board in June 1984 and remained a member of the Institute of Certified Financial Planners through 1999.

Omar chairs the Equity Committee of the Compass Capital Investment Committee. He is an investment advisor representative and partner at Compass Capital Corporation. He specializes in market analysis, investment selection, and portfolio construction. His analysis is used to direct the strategies of the Compass portfolios across the firm.

Mr. Montalbano is the Director of Wealth Management for Compass. Mr. Montalbano has substantial experience in wealth management, advisory services, and investment strategies for high net worth individuals. Previously, he served as the Director of Wealth Management at Capital Guardian and as Senior Vice-President/Partner at First Union/Wachovia Wealth Management. Mr. Montalbano is a Certified Financial Planner as well as a certified Trust and Estates Practitioner. Mr. Montalbano received a Bachelor of Arts in Business from Adelphi University School of Business.

Dave Morgan is an investment advisor representative of Compass Capital Corporation, a Registered Investment Advisor. Dave is also a Certified Financial Planner™. Dave has over 30 years experience as a pharmacist, entrepreneur and business owner. He holds a Certificate in Financial Planning from Boston University and has passed the CFP exam. He has completed the six thousand hours needed to complete his certification. He holds degrees from UMass Amherst and Massachusetts College of Pharmacy. Dave brings a unique and practical perspective along with 15 years of investing experience to the financial advising field. His particular area of interest is comprehensive financial planning for small business owners and healthcare professionals. Mr. Morgan serves on many committees and boards of various non-profit agencies. Dave is a member of the Financial Planning Association and many pharmacy associations on a state and national level. He resides in Weymouth with his wife Susan and their two children.

Philip B. Boncaldo is an investment advisor representative of Compass Capital Corporation. A graduate of Boston College in 1984, he also holds an MBA, concentrating in investment finance, from Bentley College Graduate School (1986). He has been involved in the financial investment and insurance services industry since 1990.
He is a founding member the Institute for Investment Management Consultants, Boston chapter, and part of the Managing Committee of the South Shore Rental Association and a member of the Massachusetts Rental Association. In addition, Mr. Boncaldo is a partner of Rodi Realty Trust and B & D Property Management Co. located in Quincy, Mass. and specializes in real estate investment and management.
Mr. Boncaldo’s financial planning practice concentrates on asset allocation and the investment planning decisions of family wealth and transitional situations. As part of an overall financial planning process, Philip analyzes restructuring and reallocating investment assets to meet the changing needs, and risk parameters of those who find themselves in a transitional period of their lives. Integrating their portfolio, utilizing time-tested conservative investment techniques, with their new circumstances and current overall risk profile helps investors to maintain better financial structure and the ability to meet financial goals.
Philip shares his expertise by conducting financial planning seminars. Prior to entering the financial planning field, Philip was a professor and taught undergraduate and graduate courses on micro- and macroeconomics, and finance. He is an ongoing adult education instructor on financial planning, retirement planning, asset allocation and teaches continuing professional education courses for accountants. He maintains his financial planning and investment advisory service practice in Quincy, Mass.
Philip, his wife, Alyse and their son, Benjamin, reside in Braintree, Mass.

She is a 1982 graduate of the Drexel University in Philadelphia with a BS in accounting and a 1999 graduate of Lesley College with a Master of Education in technology.

He lives in North Andover with his wife of 39 years, Lyn. He has two daughters, Amy and Cristina (the head of the Employee Benefit Division of LFS), and 5 grandchildren.

Walter K. Joly is an investment advisor representative and shareholder of Compass Capital Corporation, founded in 1984 as a Registered Investment Advisor in the practice of personal financial management and planning. A 1969 graduate of the University of Connecticut, Mr. Joly has been associated with the financial services industry since 1975. He holds various securities and insurance licenses and has been actively involved with the Boston Estate Planning Council for many years. Walter has advised both closely-held business owners and publicly traded company’s executives throughout the New England area. His particular areas of competence and specialization include advanced estate planning techniques, retirement plan design and implementation, and comprehensive personal financial management.

Tyler Chaisson is an investment advisor representative for Compass Capital Corporation and a registered representative for Compass Securities Corporation in Braintree, Massachusetts. Tyler is also an attorney licensed to practice in Massachusetts and operates a separate law firm, Compass Legal Services, LLC. He specializes in estate planning and holds a Certified Trust and Estate Planner designation from the Academy of Global Finance & Management. Tyler received his Juris Doctor with honors from The University of Massachusetts School of Law at Dartmouth and a Bachelors of Arts in Economics from Middlebury College.

Mr. Coyne has been a Certified Financial Planner since 1986 and entered the financial services business in 1982.
John earned his Bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University and also holds a Master’s Degree. As a Certified Financial Planner, John holds his NASD Series 7 and 63 license designations.
As a CFP, John continues to educate himself in the area of financial planning. During his many years in the business, John has assisted hundreds of people with the development of investment programs. His specialist is managing clients’ money using mutual funds & ETFs. Through a distinct and disciplined process, John identifies excellent funds in all major Morningstar categories and then diversifies his clients across these market segments. Once the initial allocation is complete, John monitors his client’s assets carefully and adjusts as market conditions and personal situations dictate.
John brings an immense amount of experience to Compass from his prior positions, including that with the Bank of Braintree, where he held the titles of Assistant Vice President and Investment Advisor. John essentially created the Investment Services and Trust Department at the Bank of Braintree, where he was responsible for all aspects of its trust and asset management business.

Deborah has worked in the financial services industry for 33 years, assisting John Coyne,
Debbie graduated in 1990 from Bentley University with a BS in Finance. SHe is a Series 99 Operations Professional.
